![]() ![]() ![]() He continues to be drawn into haunted houses and hotels during his travels with his wife, Sherry, with whom he coauthors the “Miracle” series. Steiger has now authored or coauthored 150 books on the mysterious and unknown, including the classics The Werewolf Book: The Encyclopedia of Shapeshifting Beings and Mysteries of Time and Space. His first book, Ghost, Ghouls and Other Peculiar People, a collection of his articles on ghosts and the paranormal, was published in 1965. ![]() ![]() In the early 1970s, the Steiger family moved into a haunted house that was home to several entities who tried every frightening method they could devise to drive them out. He has witnessed spirit materializations, heard spectral voices, felt ghostly touches on his person, and once was even lifted into the air by hostile entity. He has conducted investigations in 46 states, a number of Canadian provinces, and in foreign countries such as Egypt, Israel, Jordan, and Peru. Since 1958, Steiger has been invited to dozens of private homes, office buildings, dormitories, hospitals, and sacred areas to investigate haunting manifestations. Hostly phenomena were a common occurrence in Brad Steiger’s childhood home, and because these experiences were accepted by a mystically inclined mother and challenged by a skeptically inclined father, Steiger believes that he achieved a balanced attitude toward ghosts and hauntings that has served him well during his nearly 50 years as a psychical researcher. ![]()
